The Idaho Gourd Competition was held on
the 14th of November 2009, at Edwards Greenhouse in Boise. My entry
was in the Masters Division and the category was Native American. I
was awarded a 1st place in my class and was voted Peoples Choice.

In February of 2009 I entered my newly completed "
Eagle Spirit" Gourd in the competition at the Wuertz Gourd Festival in Casa
Grande Arizona, sponsored by the Arizona Gourd Society. I was honored to win
the 1st place in the "Masters Vessel Class" plus I also was awarded the Best
in Division "Masters" and Best in Show. |
